Our Adult Group Classes

Join a Fun Class Today!

We have options for In-Person classes and Virtual Classes. This allows us to limit the number of people inside our office at one time, and also allows folks to choose the format that is most comfortable for them.

In-Person classes are recommended for those who will have begun the COVID vaccination before the first class. Masks are not required inside the classroom, but feel free to wear a mask depending on your comfort level. In common areas outside the classroom, all CDC guidelines should be followed.

Virtual classes will use Zoom, and you will need a laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone to participate. For Virtual classes that require a textbook, students will be able to purchase the book online and pick up curbside prior to the first day of class. More details will be sent to you approximately one week before classes begin.

2022 Fall II Schedule of Classes

The schedule of our current session of classes is below. If you've had some Spanish in the past, you are welcome to join one of our classes in progress (we will prorate the price). Not sure which level is right for you? You may take a free online placement test and we will contact you with the results. We will place you in the level that is best for you.

Our next session of classes will begin January 9, 2023, and the new schedule and registration will be available on our website no later than December 12, 2022!

Our task-oriented, immersion approach creates real-life scenarios that equip students with skills they can immediately apply in their lives. Activities such as role-playing, study groups, novels, and movies provide practical lessons that help students to manage daily tasks in Spanish and to be immersed in the language.

We believe it is essential for students to learn naturally through conversation and on going practice, the same way we learned our first language!
In an immersion setting, students are given tools to help them interpret the language as they experience it, rather than learning from memorization or a grammar book.

Why do we use the immersion approach?

The only tried and true way to learn to THINK in another language is to learn through immersion. Otherwise, you're just memorizing another language.
If you're new to immersion, it can be challenging at first, but that's ok! Our classes are also fun and engaging, and you'll feel real pride the first time you have a basic exchange in Spanish.
